Congress has began moves to amend our Constitution. The House of Representatives insists that holding a Constituent Assembly is possible if Congress (including the Senate), voting jointly, would get a 2/3 support.

charter change should only be tackled after the 2010. any moves to amend the charter before then will only be for the purpose of extending GMA's term!

charter change is not necessarily bad. its just the timing and the manner. why not have a constitutional convention instead after the 2010 elections. let us elect the delegates to the convention in 2010 too.
